Our 2023 Every Child Matters Orange Shirt Day T-Shirt features a unique design by Coast Salish artist Simone Diamond. Proceeds from Every Child Matters Orange Shirt Day products will be directed to the Native Northwest Reconciliation Fund to support people and families who continue to be impacted by Residential Schools and intergenerational trauma. Its purpose is to advance Reconciliation by funding initiatives that support Indigenous wellness, learning, and culture. In its first year, Orange shirt and orange sticker proceeds have already funded 200+ scholarships for Indigenous students at 20+ post-secondary institutions, in addition to supporting BC Aboriginal Childcare Society, Urban Native Youth Association, Aboriginal Headstart Association of BC, and more.
