With my 6 year old I tried apps to encourage him, an electric toothbrush, etc, but nothing seemed to pique his interest. With my 3 year old it can be hit or miss whether he is willing to brush his teeth or not. I thought I'd give these a chance, not holding out much hope of success. Much to my surprise, they've been a huge hit. The first few nights I could barely get them to stop brushing. Watching them wiggle these things back and forth made me want to laugh, but also made me feel a little proud of them.However I have a few doubts about how well these are cleaning my kids' teeth. The silicone bristles seem a little too soft to really clean. (Though it should be noted these seem a touch firmer than a similar brush we're trying.) I have a silicone dish scrubber which really requires a lot of elbow grease to work well, even mildly dirty things. So they can use their regular toothbrushes half-heartedly, or they can use these with gusto, even if they dont clean as well. It's tough to say which might be better.These are a little smaller than the other brush we're trying so I would recommend these for younger children, for example those who still have most of their baby teeth.One complaint/question: whats the best way to store these? the handles aren't made to stand up, and obviously won't fit in most (if any) standard toothbrush holders. So I keep them in a little dish beside the sink.Overall a nice concept, but I'm left with some doubts.My children love these they tell me their teeth feel so clean. They're 5 and 7 they love them but they are so small these are too small and we definitely need bigger ones so looking forward to seeing those on Amazon.My little boy has had a mixed relationship with toothbrushes. He loves to hold and bite them, but at 16 months, I don't have any faith that he's getting his entire mouth clean. He really hates when we brush for him! He really likes this brush, though. We just spread a tiny amount of toothpaste on each side, he puts it in place, and we wiggle it a bit, and he goes to town, brushing away!We still do a thorough brushing at night, which he claims is in violation of the Geneva Convention, but his morning brushing is fun and easy!Really works and allows my kids to not miss any tooth from being clean in the mouth.They find it so fun to use and it gets them to properly brush their teeth. So it’s a win-win for meIt was ordered for my grandson, who's not a huge fan of brushing his teeth.His parents got him an electric toothbrush, but I've watched him use that thing and he DEFINITELY does not get all his teeth. Maybe like half, if we're lucky. lol So, when I saw this, I thought it might actually be a better option than the electric toothbrush. Even if he just brushes for 20 seconds, he hits all the teeth, you just can't miss! lol He seems to like using it too. I didn't think he would because of the electric toothbrush, but he does, which I'm grateful for.Anyway, I like that the toothbrush is safe, soft silicone and gentle on his teeth and gums. I recommend it.My children love these. I love that they can do it and knowing they are getting a proper cleaning done.
