Our trademark Gro-With-Me® smart design features two adjustment toggles at the back and in the front. The back adjustment ensures a great fit for your child’s head size, simply cinch, and adjust for perfect fit. The chin strap has a toggle to comfortably fit your child.
UPF 50+ Sun Protection
All of Jan & Jul hats provide excellent protection with UPF 50+ rated fabrics with no added chemicals. Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) is the rating measure of sun protection for fabrics. It indicates how much of sun’s UV rays can penetrate through the fabric onto your skin. A UPF 50 fabric blocks 98 percent of the UVA and UVB rays and only allows two percent (1/50th) to pass through. According to , a sun hat or sun protective clothing must have a UPF of 30 to qualify for their seal of recommendation to reduce your risk of exposure. A UPF of 30 to 49 offers very good protection, while UPF 50+ rates as excellent.
